ELFNET will hold a series of end-of-project meetings in San Sebastian, Spain on 27th February - 2nd March 2007. The event will be hosted by INASMET and held jointly with the LEADOUT and GREENROSE projects.
ELFNET is also proud to announce a collaboration with IPC\Soldertec, who will hold the IPC\Soldertec Lead-Free Soldering Reliability Conference on 28th February in the same location.

The ELFNET Lead-Free Dissemination Event will be open to all, so that the results of ELFNET and the other projects can be delivered to a wide audience. It is hoped to launch the ELFNET Roadmap for future electronics interconnection technologies, as well as presentations of the latest information from Europe's experts including ELFNET intiatives in reliability, modelling and heterogenous assembly. GREENROSE and LEADOUT project will also disseminate key results of their work with SME's, including new tools for lead-free soldering implementation.

San Sebastian is renowned for its Basque cuisine and its food is some of the best in Europe! A conference dinner will be held on the evening of Wednesday 28th February at 21:00 at the Palacio Miramar resturant, a short walk from the hotel.

Notes:
Attendees should book accommodation in the Hotel Maria Cristina, since the hotel package cost includes a contribution to conference room hire, catering for the event and the conference dinner. If for some reason this is not possible, please contact the ELFNET Coordinator for details of a Day Package to be paid directly to the hotel on arrival.

Travel:
There are 3 options for travel to San Sebastian:
1. Fly to Madrid or Barcelona, change for flight to San Sebastian (50 mins). From San Sebastian airport taxi (15 mins) or bus (45 mins) to hotel. Train to San Sebastian from Madrid or Barcelona takes 6-7 hours.
2. Fly to Bilbao. Taxi to Bus Central Station for bus to San Sebastian (1 hour). Or taxi to San Sebastian (100km, €100).
3. Fly to Biarritz, taxi to San Sebastian (40km). Possible from London Stanstead by Ryanair.
