Prof. Cavallotti is full Professor at Politecnico di Milano Chemical Engineering Faculty and Professor of Metallurgical Coatings and Surface Engineering at Politecnico di Milano Materials Engineering Faculty.
He is President of the European Academy of Surface Engineering (Schwabisch Gmund D), President of the Italian Metal Finishing Society and past President of Non Ferrous Metals Centre of the Italian Metallurgy Society.
He has been working during the last fifteen years in the field of lead-free alloys in collaboration with Celestica Italy, formerly IBM Italia, and ST Microelectronics.
He holds several patents related to surface treatments and is co-author of more than two hundred papers in refereed journals and symposium proceeding volumes. |
