The IXL Laboratory (Le Laboratoire d'Étude de l'Intégration des Composants et Systèmes Électroniques) is a part of ENSEIRB (L'École Nationale Supérieure d'Électronique, Informatique et Radiocommunications de Bordeaux). It has 135 staff in a number of research groups investigating key topics in microelectronics.

The IXL Laboratory educates engineers in Electronics, Computer Science and Telecommunications.
Its facilities include an SMT assembly line, environmental chambers, metallography, SEM, microprobe, AES, SAM, multiphysics simulator (ANSYS)
In lead-free soldering, it was a partner in the CEPIA project (Reliability), the HEIDI project (PIDEA Eureka - Automotive) and the HIRONDELLE project (Growth, 5th PCRD - BGA's) |
